Chameleon for Installers
The lights your customers stop calling you about
Your customer stops calling you in November
You already know how permanent lighting goes after the install. The system is beautiful in October. Then Thanksgiving comes, and the homeowner wants orange and gold turned into red and green, and they cannot remember how, so they call you. Then Christmas ends and they want it off. Then it is the Fourth of July and they call again.
None of those calls is billable, all of them land in your busiest month, and every one of them is a truck roll or twenty minutes on the phone walking somebody through an app they open four times a year.
The scheduling is what we built, and it is the part that ends those calls. The homeowner picks their holidays once, at handover. After that the lights change on their own — every holiday, every year, on the right date, without anybody opening anything.
Everyone in this market has effects. Effects are not the differentiator and we will not pretend they are. The differentiator is that a Chameleon install keeps working without you.
What actually changes
Same ladder, same crew, same install day. Different twelve months afterwards.
What you deal with now
- Seasonal calls clustered into the weeks you are least able to take them
- Truck rolls and phone support that nobody is paying for
- A hand-typed schedule that was right the year it was entered and is wrong every year after — holidays move
- A fixed “on at 6 pm” that is on in daylight by June and an hour late by December
- Customers who forget the system can do anything and leave it on one colour
- Referrals you never get, because the house is dark on the night the neighbours would have noticed
What happens instead
- Holidays are set once at handover and move themselves year to year
- Nightly accent lighting follows sunrise and sunset, which drift about two hours across a year, so it is never on in daylight and never late
- Game days follow the real schedule, re-synced nightly, so a rescheduled game moves with it
- The homeowner controls it from anywhere, so “can you come turn it off” stops being a call
- Everyone in the household has it on their own phone — no passwords passed around, no single person who knows how
- The house is lit for every holiday, which is the whole of your marketing on that street
What you are selling
One product, four parts, none of which you have to build or maintain.
-
The controller and firmware
Several LED runs and several zones on one controller, each running different content at once. IP68 lighting rated for 50,000 hours. The controller keeps its schedule on its own clock, so it carries on through an internet outage.
-
The app, on all three platforms
iPhone, Android and any web browser, all the same account and the same lights. Included with every system at no cost to you or to the homeowner.
-
The scheduling that runs itself
Holidays that move with the year, sunrise and sunset anchors, and sports schedules synced nightly. This is the part your competition does not have, and it is the reason the phone stops ringing.
-
A library your customer will actually use
5,282 patterns, palettes and playlists ship with the system — every major holiday and hundreds of college and professional teams. One tap adds a scene to the calendar. Nothing is locked; they can change any of it.
-
Handover that finishes
Set the holidays at the end of the install, hand over the app, and leave. There is no annual return visit built into the product.
-
An install that hides
No visible wires and no visible screws — everything sits under a colour-matched mount. It is the finish we put on our own jobs.
Nothing to commit to
You can put this on a job next week without signing anything.
No dealer agreement. No minimum order. No annual commitment. No exclusivity. No stocking requirement. There is no territory to buy and nothing is region-locked.
You do not have to buy lights or controllers from us. The firmware is a free download and the app is free with it. Keep your supplier, keep your product line, keep your margins — run our software on the hardware you already carry, or on ours, whichever suits the job.
You pay us nothing until a customer wants the cloud calendar, and that is a one-time activation for that one controller — never a subscription, and never a fee on the job itself. $100 is the published consumer price; trade is a conversation.
Try it on one house. If it does not earn its place, you have spent nothing and you owe nobody an exit.
Trade terms
We do not publish installer pricing, because we would rather quote you than have you guess. What it costs depends on how many systems a year you put up and how you want to buy the cloud activations — per install, or in a block up front.
Tell us roughly what your volume looks like and we will put real numbers in front of you. If you are trying one system to see whether you like it, say that too — that is a normal way to start and we would rather you did it than committed to something first.
