What’s covered

Chameleon Lighting warrants the hardware we supply — LED lights, mounting track, controllers, power supplies, connectors and wiring — against defects in materials and workmanship for three years:

• Systems we install: from the date the installation is finished.
• DIY kits and parts bought from us: from the date they are delivered.

What we’ll do

We repair or replace the part that failed, at our choice, with the same or an equivalent part. On a system we installed in our service area, we come out and do the work ourselves — usually by swapping the affected 3 ft segment. For kits, parts and systems installed by someone else, we ship you the replacement part; the labor to fit it is not covered. A repaired or replaced part is covered for the rest of the original three years.

What’s not covered

• Lightning strikes and power surges.
• Storms, fire, flood, falling limbs, impact and other physical damage.
• Damage from incorrect installation or wiring, or from modifying the hardware — including DIY kits and systems installed by anyone other than us.
• Parts not supplied by Chameleon Lighting, and damage they cause.
• Normal cosmetic wear, such as fading or weathering of the track finish.
• Software. The free firmware is provided without warranty; see its terms.

Independent installers

Installers who put Chameleon up are independent businesses. Hardware bought from us is covered as above; their workmanship is covered by whatever warranty they offer you.

How to make a claim

Call or text (850) 393-1519, email [email protected], or use the contact form and tick “Warranty”. Tell us what failed and when, with your order or invoice. We may ask for a photo, or for the failed part back.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. It is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you have under applicable law.
