What you need
A desktop browser
Chrome, Edge or Opera on a computer. Not Safari, Firefox or phones.
A data USB cable
Many carry power only. Board not appearing? Swap the cable.
A board you can erase
Installing wipes it. On a Chameleon cloud account? Talk to us first.

Is this a trial?
No. No clock, no nag. It’s the same firmware we ship; cloud features come from a certificate, not a reflash.
Why can’t I do this on my phone?
Phone browsers can’t open USB serial. Use a computer for this one step; the rest works from a phone.
Nothing appears when I press the button.
Usually a charge-only cable, a missing CP210x or CH340 driver (from the chip vendor), or the board needs bootloader mode: hold BOOT while plugging in.
Can I go back?
Yes. Anything that flashes a full image, including what was there before, can replace it.
What do you collect when I do this?
Nothing. Your browser writes four files to the board; the board never talks to us. See our privacy policy.
