Five short videos, in order. Start with Evening Lights — everything else is optional and takes a minute each.

Start here

1 · Evening Lights

Your everyday accent lights — the show that plays on ordinary nights, with holidays and game days taking over on theirs.

  1. On Home, find Automations and tap Evening Lights.
  2. Turns on: pick a time, or Sunset — slide to start a little before it.
  3. Turns off: pick your lights-out time.
  4. Change picks what plays: one of your shows or any from Discover.
  5. Tap the check to save.
Optional

2 · Morning, Rain & Snow

Extras you can turn on any time: a morning show, and lights that come on when the weather turns at your house.

  1. Morning Lights: set on and off times, then match your evening show, pick another, or play what’s scheduled that day.
  2. Swipe Automations to Rain Lights. It uses the controller’s location — set one if asked.
  3. Turn it on and choose rain, clouds or either, the hours it may run, and the rainy-day show.
  4. Snow Lights works the same way. If it rains and snows at once, snow wins.
  5. Tap the check to save each one. Rain & Snow Lights are US-only for now.
Game day

3 · Sports Teams

Pick your team once and the lights come on for every game — dates update automatically all season.

  1. Open Discover and tap See all next to Sports.
  2. Pick a league, then your team.
  3. When lists the upcoming games. Add days before or after, or change the hours.
  4. Where: choose the controller it plays on.
  5. Tap the check. Game days now show up on Home.
All year

4 · Holidays

Every holiday comes with its dates, and they move with the holiday each year.

  1. Open Discover and tap See all next to Holidays.
  2. Pick a holiday. Tap Try to see it on your lights first.
  3. When: add days before or after if you like.
  4. Where: choose the controller.
  5. Tap the check — or tap + on any card for a quick add.
Big days

5 · Celebrations

Birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and new babies — you pick the date.

  1. Open Discover and tap See all next to Celebrations.
  2. Pick one, then Pick a date.
  3. Tap the first day, then the last. It repeats every year, like a birthday.
  4. Where: choose the controller.
  5. Tap the check to add it.
